SarusPay is designed to be simple to open, but a few requirements apply. This page explains who can sign up and how regional availability works.
Who can open an account
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must be a resident of a country where SarusPay is currently available.
- You must complete identity verification with our verification partner.
- You must not appear on international sanctions or watchlists that would prohibit us from serving you.
Identity verification
During sign-up you will be asked to submit a government-issued identity document and a live selfie. Most applicants complete verification in a few minutes. Occasionally we may ask for additional information — for example, proof of address — before your account is fully activated.
Regional availability
SarusPay is being rolled out in phases. Availability of specific features — such as top-up methods, physical card delivery, and mobile wallet payments on your device — depends on your country of residence and local regulation. The most up-to-date list of supported regions is shown when you sign up.
If SarusPay is not yet available in your country, you can join the waitlist and we will contact you when the product opens for your region.
Business and joint accounts
At launch, SarusPay is available for personal use only. Business accounts and joint accounts are not currently offered.
Ongoing eligibility
To continue using SarusPay, you may be asked to refresh your identity information periodically or when there are material changes to your account. If you no longer meet the eligibility criteria, we may need to restrict or close your account, and we will always tell you why.
